DOUG WIGGINS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

Doug Wiggins the former University of Connecticut guard and current Hartford Lightning point guard has been named Atlantic Coast Professional Basketball League (ACPBL) player of the week.  The 6 foot 1 inch guard led his Hartford Lightning to a 140-119 win over the Toms River Shooters with 24 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals while draining three long 3-point shots from well behind the NBA 3-point line.

Doug Wiggins will next be in action on Saturday December 17^th in a Hartford Lightning home game vs. the Manhattan Pride, tip-off is slated for 7:00pm from the Sports and Medical Sciences Academy in the heart of Hartford.
